Updating la.plume Micro CMS
la.plume Micro CMS is the previous system. It was discontinued at the beginning of 2020. Replacing it with superMicro CMS is easy enough but will require some files to be manually edited. They are the .php files in the root folder, typically:
<?php include('./inc/page.class.php'); $obj = new Page; $obj->Textfilename = "pagename.txt"; $obj->Template(); ?>
They must be changed to:
<?php $obj = ''; include('./inc/html.php'); $obj = new Page; $obj->Textfilename = 'pagename.txt'; $obj->Template(); ?>
It means downloading each one, making the edit, then uploading back to the website. The easiest way is probably to first do the edits then upload them along with everything else as described here »
An alternative method is:
(1) Backup, download the backup ZIP file, and unzip it onto your hard drive. Check that you have all the files in the /pages/ folder.
(2) Delete the whole website.
(3) Install superMicro CMS as described here »
(4) Make the pages again by copying each one from the /pages/ backup and pasting it into the new one.
